Here at MSC, we make all of our signs to order! This process includes designing, programming, cutting, and powder coating your sign. Depending on how many orders we're getting, this can take anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks. If you haven't received any updates beyond an order confirmation, don't fret; your sign is in the works! You'll be sent tracking information via email as soon as it leaves our building.
The production timeline is an estimate, not a guarantee. We cannot guarantee exact production and delivery times except for orders paid as a rush.
Please note: Specialty projects and orders can take longer.
Most of our signs are made of 14 gauge aluminum; this is thicker than most other laser cut custom signs on the market! Aluminum is lightweight and will never rust, so hanging your signs outdoors is perfectly safe. We finish our signs with the powder coat of your choosing, which doesn't only makes your sign visually striking, but further protects it from the elements as well.
We also carry 12 gauge aluminum, 12 and 14 gauge mild steel and stainless steel, which can be used upon custom request (pricing may differ).
Please note that products made from mild steel are prone to rust if the powder coating is damaged (due to exposure or other factors). We cannot guarantee the lifespan of mild steel signs.
We do our best to complete orders in a timely fashion, but we understand that sometimes you need something sooner. If you're looking to have a piece finished within 2 weeks, we typically require a flat rush fee of $75. This guarantees we will have your order produced and shipped by the date you need it. (Please note, we have no control over the speed of the shipping itself, as we are not in charge of the couriers. We do our best to anticipate how long shipping will take and send it out with ample time. We cannot be held liable for delays caused by the couriers.) Aside from this, we can also 'prioritize' your order for free. This means we'll do our best to expedite the production of your order and get it to you for the date you requested, however we cannot guarantee it will be with you for that date.
If you know you need your order for a certain date when ordering, please let us know by adding it to your 'notes' section in checkout.
When placing an order you're required to provide either an email address or a phone number. This is where you'll be notified when your order is shipped. You should also immediately receive a confirmation of order via the number or email you input.
Please note that by adding a phone number that does not support SMS (e.g. landlines) you will not be notified of your order confirmation and tracking. You can rectify this by giving us a call and we can add your email address to your order.
If you have not received confirmation or tracking information, check your spam folder.
For purchases of items under 11" you will not receive tracking information, as it is sent via lettermail and not parcel.
Each customer has different needs and visions for where they'd like to put their sign; for this reason, we do not currently include any mounting hardware with our orders. Unless otherwise specified or requested, all of our signs have at least 2 pilot holes included, sized at 0.185", which will fit most #8 screws.

Made a mistake? We're here to help! We allow for changes or edits to be made to your order for a window of 24 hours after placing the order (or the following business day if ordered on a weekend or holiday). After this time period, your sign has began to be processed already and we may not be able to make further edits for you. If you need an edit made, please call us during business hours at 1-888-439-2010 and let us know what you need help with. Calling will ensure your request is addressed sooner rather than later, as we can receive hundreds of emails in a single day!
Please note: It is the sole responsibility of the customer to input the correct information, spelling, and grammar. MetalSignsCanada is not liable for incorrect information input by the buyer. Any requests for adjustments must be made within 24 hours of placing the order.
We offer free shipping across Canada on all signs that are under 30". After this, couriers will consider the package to be 'oversized' and charge accordingly. If you are requesting a larger size, let us know and we'll work with you to calculate the best price available!

To expedite the process, please include the following information in your request if possible:
- The size of sign (approximations are okay!)
- The imagery and/or text you would like included
- Your postal code (specifically if the sign you're interested in having made is over 30")
- Any other relevant details
As we're a very small company and receive dozens of requests a day, please allow for 2-5 business days for a reply. If you need something sooner, please give us a call at 1-888-439-2010.

While we do our best to package the signs carefully and ensure quality before sending them to our customers, sometimes they can arrive damaged due to mishandling by couriers. If this is the case, please send us photos of the damaged sign and packaging to email@example.com. Please include your order number or other contact information as well. We'll work to replace the sign as quickly as possible!
